Contact Your Advisor
Once a student is accepted to Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) and has accepted their admissions by completing their Enrollment Agreement, each student is to make their 1st quarter tuition payment arrangements. It is recommended that you make tuition arrangements as soon as you are accepted in order to reserve your space in the program.
The Academic Advising Office is located at 300 S. Fair Oaks Ave. Advising is Available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm* (PT). You may request an appointment during hours by walk-in or after hours by email at [email protected] or by phone at 626-568-8850.

- Advice pertaining to all academic issues
- Guidance regarding elective course registration
- Understanding your program’s requirements
- Adjusting to life away from home
- Problems or concerns about instructors, staff, or other students
- Concerns or grievances regarding your grades
- Advice on how to deal with personal matters that may affect your time at LACM (i.e. family emergencies, illness, injury, job offers, or financial issues)
- Changing your student status (i.e. cancellation, program transfers, Leave of Absence)
- Improving study skills (i.e. developing a time management plan, and prioritization)
