World-renowned drummer Pat Petrillo has been a leader in the drum industry for years. He has backed and worked with a wide array of artists from many genres, including Patti LaBelle, Gloria Gaynor, Oz Noy, Chieli Minucci, and numerous Broadway shows, including “A Chorus Line”, “Grease”, “Footloose”, “Newsies”, and “Dreamgirls”. As a testament to Pat’s career, he was featured on the cover of the February 2023 issue of Modern Drummer Magazine. He now leads his group, the Big Rhythm Band, who will be performing on the Main Stage at the 2024 NAMM Show. On their new record, “The Power Station Sessions”, the band produces 9 groove-packed tracks, featuring guest artists Nile Rodgers, John Popper, Oz Noy, and more. It has charted on Smooth Jazz Network and Jam Band based radio around the globe. Their debut record, “The Abbey Road Sessions”, saw the group chart in the Top 20 on Relix/Jambands.com. His popular instructional videos on Drumeo, and published Books and Digital Lessons with Hudson Music, have inspired thousands of drummers. He also has designed the popular K Custom Organic Ride for Zildjian, the P4 Practice Pad, and the new Rack-N-Roll Cymbal Cart. Pat has previously taught at Drummers Collective in NYC for many years and continues to spread his drum knowledge via Zoom lessons, and in clinic performances and master classes.
