Sensory Percussion is a hardware and software system that uses magnetic sensors (not triggers) to connect your drum set to your computer. Developed by EVANS Drumheads and tech startup Sunhouse with the goal of making electronic drumming more human, the system takes the nuances of the drummer’s playing and flexibly translates them to the world of electronic sound design. Taking the best of both worlds from DAWs and drum triggers, it allows performers to control audio and MIDI with unprecedented expressivity from behind the drum set.
