Allen has performed and/or recorded with Jazz and R&B luminaries including Hiroshima, Randy Crawford, Gino Vannelli, Patti Austin, Roberta Flack, Stevie Wonder, Jon Waite, BeBe and CeCe Winans, The Crusaders, Bobby Caldwell, James Ingram, and Joan Baez. He has five solo albums under his name, with a 6th due out soon entitled “The Good Fight” on SRG records. His music can also be heard in many cable TV shows such as Sons of Guns, Pawn stars, National Geographic specials, and many more. Allen also has several guitar instruction books out: “Liquid Legato,” “Melodic Improv,” and “Fusion Blues Soloing.”
