Boom Bip is the genre-defying sonic alias of producer and composer Bryan Hollon, whose work spans experimental hip-hop, electronic, ambient, and indie rock. His latest endeavor is the co-owner of Vinyl Ceremony in Pasadena which bridges the gap between vinyl manufacturing and independent artists. Emerging from the underground of early-00s abstract hip-hop, Boom Bip first gained recognition through his collaboration with Doseone & his solo debut which positioned him at the vanguard of progressive beatmaking & production. He signed with UK’s Warp/Lex Records & did 2 BBC Peel Sessions Hollon has collaborated with artists like Boards of Canada, Four Tet, Oasis, Cate Le Bon, Warpaint, etc.
