Jamie Rosenn, a guitarist whose unique style pays homage to the past while also looking ahead to the future, trained at the New England Conservatory of Music and at Cal Arts in Valencia, CA. During that time his mentors included Jimmy Giuffre, Ran Blake, Mick Goodrick, George Russell, Bob Moses, Charlie Haden, Leo Smith and Joe LaBarbera. Since receiving his Masters Degree from CalArts, Jamie has been an active member of the Los Angeles jazz scene. His music releases include 4 albums by the band JoE-LeSs shOe (with Jason Harnell and Matt Otto), an album with his band Sigmund Fudge, and two albums, “Points Subtracted” and “Peaberry”, by the band Option 3 (with Joe Bagg and Mark Ferber).
