A native of Utica, New York, vocalist, harmonica player, and songwriter Matt Lomeo had an early start in the music business as the youngest artist ever invited to perform at a Woodstock Festival (1999 at ten years old). As DJ of the Sunday Night Blues on WAER Syracuse 88.3 FM or house bandleader at historic Club Handy on Beale Street, Memphis, Tennessee, Matt has followed his passion for 20th Century American Music throughout life. Since making Los Angeles his home, Matt has assumed hosting duties for the Tuesday night jam at Ireland’s 32 Pub, leading a house band of top Americana studio pros. His all-original debut “When You Call” was released to international acclaim and radio play in 2022. As regional champion, Matt represents the Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society in the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge 2023. A diverse songwriter with a growing list of studio credits, Matt Lomeo’s is a voice that is sure to resonate in the Blues World for many years to come.
