With a GRAMMY-winning and Multi-Platinum discography of over 250 records to thousands of live performances all across the globe, keyboardist, producer & songwriter Sam Barsh is a true musical triple-threat. Bringing his experience as a top-call pianist on the NYC jazz scene to studio collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Anderson .Paak and The Weeknd, Barsh has successfully been on the front line of re-incorporating sophisticated harmony into today’s popular music.

Heavily steeped in the jazz world as well as music production and songwriting , Barsh toured with the iconic bassist and composer Avishai Cohen’s trio for 3 years, recording 3 albums and a live DVD at New York’s famed Blue Note jazz club. He has worked with many renowned jazz artists, including Cassandra Wilson, Gregory Porter, Jane Monheit, Roy Hargrove, Snarky Puppy.

Barsh has written and/or produced over 200 commercially released songs, with 17 Gold and Platinum certifications and four #1 albums on the Billboard 200. He co-wrote the Kanye West feat. The Weeknd and Lil Baby single “Hurricane” which reached #1 on multiple charts and won the GRAMMY Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance. Barsh also co-wrote the smash Aloe Blacc song “The Man,” which sold 4 million singles worldwide and reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart and #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. His work as a songwriter and keyboardist on Kendrick Lamar’s Platinum-certified album “To Pimp A Butterfly” won 3 GRAMMY Awards and a nomination for Album of the Year. Barsh was also Grammy-nominated for album of the year as a songwriter on Kanye West’s “Donda”. His work on Anderson .Paak’s groundbreaking album “Malibu,” BJ the Chicago Kid’s “In My Mind,”Ledisi’s “Let Love Rule” and on the “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” soundtrack has garnered an additional 4 GRAMMY Nominations.
