Song evaluations are not only a great way to hone your songwriting skills, but they also help to prepare your songs (and you) for the type of scrutiny they are likely to encounter in the real world of the music business. The workshops are also a good hang and a great way to meet potential co-writers. Beginning through advanced writers in all genres are welcome. Bring a song on CD or mobile device, or to play live plus 12 copies of your typed lyric sheet. Lyrics only can also be critiqued. Open to current LACM students and alumni with RSVP.
